Panadería Rosetta is a well-loved bakery nestled in the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood of Mexico City, known for its carefully crafted pastries and a steady stream of locals who come for breakfast and sweet treats alike. The atmosphere is warmly inviting, with a modest yet stylish interior that encourages lingering, whether you’re meeting friends or grabbing a morning pick-me-up.

The real draw here lies in the pastries: think flaky, buttery guava rolls and conchas with chocolate and vanilla that maintain a perfect balance between crispness and softness. The bakery showcases a thoughtful blend of classic Mexican pan dulce alongside inventive items like the cardamom roll and ricotta-lemon pastries, appealing to those who enjoy subtle, layered flavors rather than overly sweet options.

The crowds during breakfast time—especially on weekends—create a lively buzz, and while lines can form, the pace tends to be efficient. For locals and visitors seeking a relaxed morning spot, sitting down for a cappuccino paired with one of the signature rolls can feel like a small, well-earned ritual. Coffee here is serviceable without stealing the spotlight, making it a place more about the baked goods than the brew.

Beyond the pastries, savory options like the baguette with turkey ham, goat cheese, and hazelnut pesto offer a satisfying counterpoint for anyone wanting something less sweet but equally crafted. The menu subtly reflects an artisanal approach to everyday bakery fare that invites repeat visits—the multiple return trips from regulars attest to its consistent quality.

Panadería Rosetta fits comfortably into Roma Norte’s thriving food scene by providing a casual yet thoughtful experience centered on fresh, warm breads and pastries. It’s well-suited for morning gatherings, casual dates, or anyone who appreciates that moment when a fresh guava roll is still warm from the oven.

Rosetta is a beautiful spot with a great atmosphere, but some of the dishes fall a bit short of expectations. The roast beef sandwich is good — well-seasoned and nicely put together — but it’s not outstanding. The same goes for the confit pork sandwich: enjoyable, but not something that really stands out or feels memorable. The coffee is pretty standard as well; nothing particularly special. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit, but the food doesn’t quite reach the level you might expect from such a popular restaurant.

This place was an absolute highlight of our trip. The staff are all so lovely. So friendly, and effective. The pastries are amazing. And the special hot chocolate they had on the day I was there was fantastic. It is obvious why they are so so popular. So if you are going do allow some waiting time. But it is worth it. If only their big sister Rosetta restaurant could live up to the level of expertise and professionalism

Probably the best panaderia we visited while in CDMX. So good we visited 3 times! Beautifully decorated, and staff were super friendly. The guava roll was amazing. Would definitely suggest dining in for breakfast if you get a chance. Chilaquiles were very flavourful.

Best breakfast we’ve had here in Mexico City. Expect a wait (and a line) but what delicious place doesn’t have a line or a wait? The chilaquiles were so flavorful, the sweets were perfect, and the price wasn’t too bad. The staff was friendly, the food came out in the right amount of time…it was just so good. I highly recommend this place, and will definitely come back anytime I’m in Mexico City.

Tbh had a guava roll from their lil to go spot somewhere else in cdmx and it wasn't great, but realize it's because it wasn't fresh and warm. The walk in line for food to go was pretty fast though it seemed long. Maybe 12 mins to order and like 10 to get our pastries. The guava roll and the chocolate concha were warm and fresh- extremely delicious. Flaky, buttery. Would return, definitely different when you bake their stuff fresh.

Worth the hype. There is a line but it moves fast. We tried the guava roll, the potato & provolone focaccia and the tomato & basil focaccia. The tomato & basil focaccia was definitely a highlight for us; some of the best tasting tomato we had. Guava roll was also quite good. Wish the food had been at least a little warm instead of cold as that would have been perfect! EDIT: We went again around opening and they didn’t have quite a few things available. Wish that was more clear online or on their menu.

Come here for the famous pastries but got amazed by the coffee and chocolate! The bakery is as good as it’s famous of, even the fruits used are in great quality. The line was very long during vacation seasonal but they have everything well organized, so you won’t wait for so long. So glad to visit this beautiful place with great quality of bread, pastries and drinks in a good price!

This is by far the best panaderia I've ever been to. It was so busy even at night. You line up to order your drinks and food and then they call out your name. It took us 15 minutes to order and another 15 minutes to get our order. Our guava roll was incredible. I wish I had ordered two instead of sharing one with my wife. We both ordered sandwiches which came on a baguette and was incredibly delicious. My review will not be able to describe how good their food is. See the pictures below. The cafe de olla was just okay. No worries about the guava roll cuz I'm coming back Saturday before I go to the airport. Must try when in CDMX.
